Update from Code Compliance Officer Javier Mata and handouts passed around for Code Ranger Training Classes

Update from Michael Blackmon from Daggett Middle School and shared that they are looking for mentorship volunteers

Voting Item

Fred Harper Seconded the motion to approve the appointment of Jean-Carlo Merel Ibáñez as the Administration Director for the Board serving from 2019-2021. The Motion was unanimously approved.

Open discussion for members:

Discussion on opportunities for the new city budget items around tourism as something the neighborhood can be involved in for events like Festivus, Home Tour, and general tours through the historic district.

Discussion about helping to get the word out about neighborhood events and opportunities through flyers at the local schools?

In September, the preservation palaver will have a presentation by Tracy Walker on restoring historic windows, and the October palaver will be November 6 with guests Michael McDermot and Stacy Luecker teaching ways to research the history of your home.
