Board Elections in September

• Call for Volunteers for the nomination committee. Needs to be assembled in July.
• Position coming open:
  • Director of Membership
  • Director of Promotions
  • Director of Communications (1 year commitment, instead of 2)
  • Director of Infrastructure
  • Director of Administration
  • President
• Volunteers also needed to be committee members to support the FNA directors (less time commitment than a director position).

July Softball Game- Kelci Cox

• July 3^rd at 6:30PM at Daggett Park. 
• There will be food trucks and a neighborhood social to follow the game.

FNA Social Update- Barbara Crotty

• August Social will be on August 11^th at the home of Chris Moseley and Barry Diehl.
• Membership needs help with planning the monthly socials, contact Barbara at membership@historicfairmount.com if you are interested in volunteering. 

Historic Sign Party- Kim Worley

• At 2pm on 9/16 at 2008 Fairmount. Celebrating historic designation.
• State will have speakers presenting and to talk about the house.
• Lockwood Distillery will have a pop up tasting in the backyard.
• Live music from 4-8 pm with different genres of music including blues and americana.
• Bring snacks and chairs.

• Articles needed for the July newsletter.

Open Discussion and Closing Comments

• Neighbor contacted Councilwoman Beck’s office regarding the train tracks at the intersection of Berry and Cleburne.
• Continued financial support needed for the re-opening of the neighborhood library. Have paypal links posted online.
• Concerns about the event center by Hemphill across from Daggett. Reminder to call 911 instead of Office Bell.
