Who is responsible for mowing alleyways? Residents. The alley is YOUR responsibility to maintain. Yes, the city MAY mow it from time to time, but it is the property owner’s responsibility.
Thanks to a $300 donation from the FNA for the purchase of Pride flags from Lone Star Flags, residents Rachel Gollay and Bonnie Blackwell were able to raise $1300 for LGBTQ Saves, a local organization dedicated to fostering the well-being of LGBTQ youth.
Suzanne Mabe, from the Board of the Fairmount Community Garden spoke on behalf of the Garden to say THANK YOU voting to approve the installation of electric at the Community Garden. They are thrilled to have electricity at the garden and are planning a get together to celebrate soon.
