- Jail Diversion Center (located in our neighborhood) serves as a diversion from jail for individuals with mental health disorders who have committed a non-violent offense such as criminal trespassing. Officer’s discretion whether to take them to the center or to jail.
- For trespassing in the community garden- Officer Garner needs to have a garden representative available to say whether a person is allowed or is trespassing. Suzanne Mabe stated any member can make that determination.
- For trespassing at the former 7/11 on the corner of Allen and Hemphill- Officer Garner is trying to get in contact with the new owners. No Trespassing signs need to be put up so police can remove individuals who are on the property.
- The skate park being constructed is on city property, so police can make any trespassers leave the grounds.
