Royal Wedding Fever Comes to Metroplex!
There’s a wedding taking place in Windsor, England on May 19 – perhaps you’ve heard of the couple – Prince Harry and Meghan Markle? There will be much celebration surrounding this Royal Wedding, but how many of us in North Texas are anticipating getting an invitation?
Universal Health Resources, a non-profit hospice organization is bringing the celebration to Keller’s Bowden Events and Weddings. A Regal Affair: An Evening with The Royal Chef, being held on Thursday, May 10, 2018, will feature Chef Darren McGrady, former Chef to Queen Elizabeth II and Princess Diana. Chef McGrady will prepare a 3 course gourmet meal plus passed canapes and then will regale the guests with stories from life and service at the palace. Guests will have the opportunity to purchase and have autographed Chef McGrady’s new cookbook, The Royal Chef at Home- Easy Seasonal Entertaining. Books of Congratulations will also be available for guests to write their best wishes to the happy couple.
In conjunction with the event, UHR is raffling off a cruise for two aboard the luxurious Queen Mary 2 for a Trans-Atlantic cruise from New York City to Southampton, England. Upon arrival in England, the lucky winners will enjoy a two night stay in Windsor at a four-star hotel. Tickets are being sold 1 for $25, 5 for $100 and 10 for $175.
Universal Health Resources provides financial assistance as well as grants last wishes for terminally ill patients. All proceeds from the event will provide assistance with paying for high utility bills, medications, minor home repairs, rent, or grant a patient’s wish to be reunited one last time with a loved-one.
