Wishing your street could resemble Allen Ave during the summer? Now is your chance! For a donation of $150, you can sponsor your own street light. Each sponsored street lamp will have two flags installed on it. All you need to do is donate, and a friendly neighbor will be at your desired street lamp and will install your flags. The flags will be up every year from Home Tour Weekend through Labor Day and are stored during the winter for safe keeping to keep them beautiful year after year.
For those who have been in the neighborhood for a while, you know this is not a new concept, which is why some streets have more flags than others. We are excited to bring this option back and cannot thank our Fairmount Neighborhood Association volunteers enough for making this possible.
