Other:

  • Sue McLean requested a contribution towards the previously supported Good Neighbors Animal Rescue (GNAR) primarily for traps, but also to support vaccines and spay/neuter. The traps for GNAR’s Trap & Release Program cost $50 each from Texas Coalition for Animal Protection (TCAP). Well dogs and cats sent through GNAR’s TNR Program are available for adoption via a number of venues including at PetSmart on Tuesdays & Thursdays. ($85 adoption fee.) We will present a request for $2K to the membership for vote during the October meeting. (Upon approval, $1500 would be released to GNAR immediately with $500 held until the New Year.) Due to the frequency of GNAR services being requested by Ryan Place, the Board requested that GNAR also approach Ryan Place for a donation of $1500.
