Neighborhood yard sale coming April 16

The annual Fairmount Yard Sale will take place Saturday, April 16 beginning at 8 a.m. in the Fairmount National Historic District in Fort Worth, TX.

How to participate: Anyone wishing to participate should email Alex at promotions@historicfairmount.com by April 13 to get on the map. Everyone is responsible for obtaining their own permit. You can apply for your FREE permit online at: http://fortworthtexas.gov.

FAIRMOUNT PICKERS is BACK!

The Fairmount Neighborhood Association will be awarding a $100 gift card from Old Home Supply for the most “UNUSUAL” Fairmount yard sale find. On the day of the sale you will be asked to text a photo of yourself with your “picked” object by 6 p.m., April 16. You will need to provide your name, a brief description of the object and the address where you bought it. Should be fun seeing what hidden treasures Fairmount residents have! Watch for more details.

Love the old houses? Want to learn more about the historic Fairmount neighborhood? The Fairmount National Historic District’s annual tour of historic homes will be May 7-8 from noon-6 p.m. both days! There is a kick-off parade on Saturday, May 7 at 10 a.m. Tickets are $15 each pre-sale and $20 each the weekend of. Online ticket sales begin March 1.
