Finance (Bob):

  • numbers have not changed we are still on track

Michael:

Sagebrook complex

– updated and approved the street-facing facades to mimic more historic buildings

– still waiting on the look of the clubhouse and the main entrance that faces Travis (alleyway).

–  They have yet to get their state funding so once they get that they will be able to move passed the planning stages.

– Michael moves to motion to continue working on moving forward as long as they keep working with us on the looks. ChoKe motions to second

ACLC:

  • 5th Ave project (1612 5th Ave).
  • They have forgotten to submit to the landmarks because they thought the city was not going to meet this month
  • 1308 Washington 
    • Has proposed to have a parking lot behind Shaw’s
    • Zoning denied the parking lot (COA) so they can redo the proposal to match the Fairmount guidelines, to be in line with the houses instead of going all the way to the sidewalk.
  • 701 W. Magnolia
    • Not changing any of the existing buildings, just behind and beside it.
    • Parking garage is more pedestrian friendly
    • Retail on floor level and office space on the top
    • Parking will be open to the public during the day for the 1st floor and at night the entire lot will be open to the public
    • The ATM and the existing parking lots will be removed and Pauls will be left alone.
    • Committee liked it and approved with the condition that they will protect the existing buildings

Home Tour (Kristen)

  • We need sponsors
  • Videographer is charging $2500 per house
  • Voice overs will be done and need to decide who is going to do it
  • Brian is going to sponsor a house and is looking for sponsorship
  • Run a “credits” section at the end of the video in order to give more visibility to the sponsor
  • Looking at the route of the parade and trying to minimize the collection of people
  • Looking at a list of businesses that advertise in the newsletter 

Preston:

  • Going on Wednesday to look at the flag inventory
  • Putting up on the 22nd, Friday before Memorial Day 

David:

  • July will be when the paperwork will be done to present the Hemphill task force.
  • Living, working and public transportation
