Call to order
Officer Garner
- Calls to the house on the 1400 block of Hurley have calmed down
- Robbery occurred on 1800 block of Washington
- Person was in their vehicle, someone entered the vehicle and demanded money
- Victim is not responding to detective/police
- Catalytic converter thefts still an issue
- Recommend going to a mechanic and having license plate number painted on catalytic converter, makes it easier for law enforcement to track the part if stolen
- There are kits available for around $150 to prevent catalytic converter theft
Officer Zuniga
- A lot of complaints regarding short term rentals (less than 30 days)
- City is giving out notices to stop the rentals
- If you want to report a short-term rental you can contact Officer Zuniga directly or contact code compliance

Promotions- Kelci Cox
- Cowtown Marathon cheer station had a good turn out
Finance- Regina Jackman
- Rental unit is now costing $4,400 per year, causing budget deficit
- Board voted on donating plastic chairs and tables to Southside Preservation Hall, which will allow FNA to use them if available
- Will be moving to smaller storage unit to reduce costs
Membership- Barbara Crotty & Austin Reed
- 89 current memberships, 84 have not renewed
- 4 new members joined at the table set up at the Cowtown Marathon cheer station
- Members from 2019-2021 should have received a renewal reminder text message
- Renewal reminders have been included in the general emails
Preservation- Michael McDermott
- Home that was previously reported/discussed has had the recent paint removed from brick
- In past year most compliance issues have been from properties owned by developers or investors
Garage Sale-
- A map of participating houses will be distributed
- Garage sale to be held March 26th
Home Tour-
- Will be held Mother’s Day Weekend- May 7th and 8th
Community Garden- Suzanne Mabe
- Most plots have been leased
- Possible Easter egg hunt being held this year
- Altar’d State has selected the community garden as donation recipient
- Applying for grant that would help with the removal of the old chicken coop and to provide a place to start seedlings
- Garden is no longer locked, just the gates will be closed at night
