First Festivus committee meeting set for Sept. 14

It’s about that time to start thinking about Festivus and all of its shenanigans. Last year was another huge success and with Festivus in its third year Hopefully we can keep the momentum going and make it even bigger and “brighter” in 2016!

To start things off, we’d love to invite you all to the Rosen House Inn, (aka Santa’s Village) 1714 S. Henderson St., next Wednesday, Sept. 14 at 7 p.m. for the first Fairmount Festivus 2016 Committee meeting. If you don’t want to be on the committee this year, or can’t make the meeting, please just let  us know and you won’t hurt  our feelings — we  promise. Also, if you have somebody in mind that you think would be great for this committee, please feel free to forward them this information  or send  Brandon their contact info at bmgarrett816@gmail.com and we’ll reach out.

This meeting will be informal and we really just want to brainstorm with everyone. We can discuss how things went last year, what worked and what we can improve on, and ANY and ALL new ideas for this year. All ideas are truly appreciated and welcome.
